PARISH RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM (PREP)
GENERAL INFORMATION
PREP Classes are offered to all baptized students from Kindergarten to 8th Grade. A separate program is offered for students at the high school level.
Classes are generally held on Sundays from 8:30am-9:45am in the Parish Center.

PREP TUITION
Fees for Kindergarten through Confirmation I
1 Child - $220
2 Children - $295
3 or More Children - $355
First Penance/First Holy Communion Fee - $40
Confirmation II Fee - $75
(An additional fee of $15 will be collected at a later date if a confirmation robe needs to be ordered.)
These prices cover the cost of not only the supplies your children need throughout the year, but also the expenses for all class activities and family events.

PREP REGISTRATION
REGISTRATION FOR PREP 2026/2027 IS OPEN!
Please read through ALL information on this page as we have made changes to the 6th and 7th Grade Curriculum (Confirmation).
Kindergarten - 5th Grade
*Families who register after October 3rd, 2026 will be charged an additional $50 late fee.*
NEW FAMILIES
Families are considered "new" if your children have never participated in our PREP program.
Out-of-sequence families who attended our program prior to 2023 must register as "new."
To register as a New Family, click the button below a submit the first part of our registration form. Upon submission, the Religious Education office will be notified and will review your application. Once your application is approved, you will receive an automated email from Parish Giving with login credentials for an account that was automatically created for you. Families must then sign into that account in order to complete registration.
Please make sure to select a PREP Level for each child. If you do not select a level, your children will not show up on our attendance lists.
**ONLY PRIMARY CAREGIVERS MAY REGISTER STUDENTS FOR CLASSES**
6th-8th Grade
(Confirmation I and II)
Our Confirmation Program is now a 2 year program!
Students must complete both Confirmation I (formerly known as Level 6) and Confirmation II before receiving the sacrament.
All New Families and Out-of-Sequence Families must contact Alexis Witiak in order to register for Confirmation.

9th-12th Grade
If your child is in high school and wishes to receive his/her sacraments, please contact Alexis Witiak by calling the Parish Office at 610-932-5040.
RETURNING FAMILIES
All Returning Families will receive an email on July 24th, 2026 from Parish Giving with information on how to register for this year's PREP classes. This email will remind you to register using your PREP Parish Giving account. If you did not receive an email on July 24th, 2026, please contact Alexis Witiak in the Parish Office at 610-932-5040 or email her at faithformation@sacredheart.us.
Please make sure all information is up to date, and a PREP level is selected for each child. If you do not select a level, your children will not show up on our attendance lists.
First Penance/ First Holy Communion
Families can register 2nd Grade (Level 2) students for First Penance and First Holy Communion when initially registering for PREP. If you are a family who has a child in Grades 3-6 (Levels 3-6) who needs to receive their sacraments this year, please contact Alexis Witiak before registering for PREP.
