Because We Take Their Safety Seriously
All volunteers at Sacred Heart Parish must complete the required Safe Environment Clearances and Training. Please view these requirements for volunteers below. For more information on the Safe Environment Program, please review the information presented by the
Office for Child and Youth Protection.
All clearance, training certificates and signed documents should be sent to our Safe Environment Coordinator, Susan Casavant. Volunteers may also print out all certificates and documents and submit copies to the Parish Office.

FBI Fingerprinting

Disclosure Statement
If you have lived in Pennsylvania for more than 10 years, please complete this Disclosure Statement. You WILL NOT need to be fingerprinted if you are eligible to complete the Disclosure Statement.
If you have not lived in Pennsylvania for more than 10 years, you will need to complete a Federal Criminal History Report (FBI-Fingerprinting). Applicants must register online prior to arrival at the fingerprinting location.

When completing your application, follow the instructions on the website and use the Sacred Heart Parish Service Code, 1KG6ZJ.
Click on Schedule or Manage Appointment and complete the required information. Payment is made at the time of fingerprinting.

Training
** Volunteers are only required to complete the Virtus classroom and Mandated Reporter II training once. These trainings do not need to be renewed.**

Please follow the website instructions in order to register for a classroom training session. This class is held both in-person or online. Sessions fill up quickly so please plan accordingly.
**Please keep a copy of your certificate for each program. You can present it at any parish where you want to volunteer within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.**

Mandated Reporter II
This trainings is online ONLY and should be completed ASAP. You do not have to complete the Protecting God's Children training before you complete the Mandated Reporter training.
